- The collection consists of health and medical materials in both English and Spanish. Included in this collection are books, popular magazines, professional journals, reference works, electronic resources, recorded books, videorecordings, government publications, newsletters, and pamphlet and clipping files.

- Consumers may call, write, or email for health information or walk in to do their own research.
- Extended reference searches on health topics are available for both customers and health professionals.
- Interlibrary loan of medical journal articles from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Library and other medical libraries in Southern California and beyond.
